Bradley Tuck

Bradley Tuck founded Bradley Land Group in 2004 with the vision of adding value to mixed-use and infill development properties through the acquisition, design and entitlement process. For over 22 years, Mr. Tuck has been expanding his area of expertise in the land development industry. Since founding Bradley Land Group, Mr. Tuck has directed the entitlement of more than 400 homes in numerous residential and mixed-use projects throughout San Diego County, including Alpine, Escondido and La Mesa. Additionally, Mr. Tuck has established long term relationships with high net worth individuals and advised a large private equity fund on real estate developments in the Western US.

Prior to founding Bradley Land Group, Mr. Tuck served 5 years as Vice President of Land Acquisition for D.R. Horton (NYSE: DHI, the largest home builder in the nation) in San Diego. Mr. Tuck acquired land for over 3,000 homes in San Diego and Riverside Counties allowing his division to become one of the most profitable D.R. Horton divisions in the nation with annual NIBT of $125 million from 1,250 home closings. He negotiated individual land transactions as large as $145 million. He directed a talented development team in the acquisition of home sites ranging from single family detached homes to mid-rise condominium towers. As multi-family development began to rise in San Diego County, Mr. Tuck became highly skilled in the design and entitlement of multi-family projects. Mr. Tuck's outstanding performance was formally recognized in 2003 when he was awarded the prestigious Regional President's Award for outstanding performance.

Mr. Tuck served The Corky McMillin Companies (San Diego's largest private real estate development, home building and realty company) for 9 years. He started in the Land Development Department and worked his way up to Vice President of Land Acquisition. In 1994, as the housing industry and The McMillin Companies started their recovery from the housing market correction of the early 1990's, Mr. Tuck rose to the occasion by helping with efforts to rebuild the Company through strategic land acquisitions. Shortly thereafter Mr. Tuck was promoted to Vice President of Land Acquisition. As Vice President Mr. Tuck managed the acquisition, entitlement, development and build out of two master planned communities in Riverside County totaling 2,800 residential units. Mr. Tuck honed his skills as an expert negotiator in his contracts with guest builders and entitlements with government agencies.

Having received his Bachelor of Art degree with distinction in Geography and a Certificate in Social Science Research from San Diego State University in 1985, Mr. Tuck completed both MBA and MCP course work at San Diego State University.

Mr. Tuck has been committed to the home building industry through out his entire professional career by serving on various boards and committees of the Building Industry Association of San Diego and the Riverside Building Industry Association. He is a member of the California Building Industry Association, the National Association of Home Builders, and the Urban Land Institute. He is also a real estate broker licensed by the California Department of Real Estate.

Mr. Tuck's interests include sailing, human powered sports, and technology and he actively supports charities such as the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Dieguito (http://www.positiveplacesd.org) and Amor Ministries (http://www.amor.org).
